ABOUT
One thing at a time. One day at a time.
Hi! I’m Caroline.
As an artist’s daughter, I grew up surrounded by color and composition. Studying graphic design sharpened my eye for proportion, balance, and the small details that can change how a space feels. My interest in interiors started at a young age—at six, my idea of a playdate was rearranging the toy room.
Now I’m an interior designer based in Montclair, NJ, working with clients across Northern New Jersey and NYC. My own 1890 Victorian is home to two kids and two dogs, so I care as much about the details that give a home character as I do about making it comfortable, durable, and able to survive real life.
That’s what I love bringing to my clients’ homes: color, character, and a fresh eye for how a space could work better—without losing what makes it theirs.
One thing at a time.
One day at a time.
I help clients turn their homes into calm, functional sanctuaries
that feel as good as they look.
Design, Thoughtfully
Every project starts the same way — by understanding how you actually live — not just how you want a space to look,
Where you drop your keys.
Where the clutter collects.
Where you wish things functioned better.
From there, the design builds outward — layering layout, finishes, furnishings, and styling in a way that feels cohesive but never overdone.
The end result isn’t a showroom reveal.
It’s a home that feels settled, personal, and entirely your own.
Perfectly Imperfect (On Purpose)
If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be perfectly imperfect —which, yes, is technically two words.
My bathroom is chef’s kiss
My living room is a hot mess.
And that's okay.
I believe creating a home happens in layers — slowly, thoughtfully, and without pressure for everything to feel finished at once.
The best spaces aren’t the ones that look perfect, they’re the ones that feel comfortable the moment you walk in.
